Intro to Clay
Course Schedule: Tue/ Thu/ Sat from 13:30-17:30. A 4-hour session each week for 5 consecutive weeks.

Discovering the art of handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques.
Intro to Clay is a 5-week course designed for those with little to no experience but is open to all levels. Learn and try a variety of clay techniques, including the basics of hand-building and throwing.
Week 1 : Basic of handbuilding.
Week 2 : Learning how to throw basic forms.
Week 3 : Learning how to trim, join handles & style your pieces.
Week 4 : Painting techniques.
Week 5 : Learning how to glaze your pieces.
Fees & class schedule : Class fees cover instructed class time (as listed in the specific class schedule), use of tools and equipment, studio glazes, and firing up to 10 kgs of clay. Additional work may be fired for a fee.
* When signing up for Intro to Clay 5-week classes, one signs up by selecting (signing up for) the 1st class. Classes 2-5 will occur on a weekly cadence during the same day of the week and time slot.
** The post-event process typically takes between 3-4 weeks. All finished work will be dishwasher, microwave, and food safe.
